The patient gets a Unique Medical Record (UMR) number which acts as his or her passport throughout the hospital. The patient can use the UMR as his or her identification in every department or procedure and up on further visits as well. The patient also gets an In-Patient Number (IP No.) which corresponds to that particular admission only. The In-Patient (IP) billing and admission department is conveniently located beside our Out-Patient (OP) billing and reception counter.When the consulting doctor recommends the patient to get admitted, Sunshine Hospitals’ admission team guide the patient regarding the admission process, the amenities, services, packages, categories of rooms and tariffs.Our front desk executives and relationship managers and patient’s coordinators work together to help guide the patient to another department or speciality when a need arises to send that patient to a concerned department. One of our patient care executives accompany the patient to take him or her all the way to that department.
